Iis it foolish of me to begin a relationship with this guy?

Im a sophomore, he's a senior. He's going off to a college in three months that's out of state. We both really really like eachother, but im afraid that when things really start going well he'll leave :/ is it foolish to get close to this guy? I really like him. We never ever run out of things to say to eachother, and we have so much fun just sitting there and not doing anything. We never get bored of eachother and I can tell him everything. Help! What should I do?:/
