MSN MESSENGER HELP!! URGENT!!?

Ok my msn messenger was fine yesterday wheni loged in and today its not. All my contacts are shown to be offline and that little email notification box on the top right corner doesnt show my unread emails, it just says: inbox, the number is gone, its blank. Now here iis the weird thing, when i log on from hotmail.com i can see my contacts in that chat box and there people on line and i have 100 unread emails. And at the same time when im loged on to msn messenger out side of hotmail it shows that my emails are all off line and that theres nothing in my inbox. How do i fix this?? i want to talk to my good friends!! i would talk to them on the hotmail site but i just find talking to them on the messenger more convenient THANKS!
