This is starting to annoy me (what should I doo!?)?

Okay so me and this guy have been talking for some time now and we've both told each other that we have feelings for each other he said he likes my voice,he likes talking to me on the phone I make him feel some type of way like relaxed,happy,and good inside and that he's really feeling me were pouse to be going on a date this saturday I'm excited and really like him problem iis he don't never call or text me first like nothing we talked about it the first time he said he let ppl text/call him first because he knows the person wants to tlk but he will start texting/calling first but he didn't,so I brought the situation up again I told him I would really appreciate if he started calling and textingme first he said yeah he would but he don't want to start bugging me I told him it wouldn't but its like he's just not getting it and I'm starting to get very annoyed with this situation I've never had to deal with something like this before I feel like forgetting about trying to be in a relationship with him because of this.....what should I doo???
